Shannon & Lance G are a Texas Blues Rock band based in Tomball, Tx. We are a husband & wife combo with Shannon Gremillion on vocals and Lance Gremillion on guitar/vocals. We have been recording for the last year and plan to release the cd in March/April 2006 !
In August of 2003 we slowed down our BUSY gigging schedule while Lance took an overseas assignment which ended Nov 2005. Many songs were written or tweaked during this time. Since November we have assembled a solid rhythm section to compliment our style and continue playing in clubs, festivals, parties all across this place known as " Texas USA ! Playing out live with us in 2006 will be Jimmy Rose ( drums ) & Jeremiah Hamilton ( Bass ).
Our cd is all original with 1 classic cover thrown in.....We hope everyone enjoys this CD !

Mark May - The man ! A very good friend of ours and a guitar master and mentor who produced our cd from start to finish ! Mark is a great producer and musician that can help bring out the best of an artist. This whole project was very hard work and an awesome learning experience, and Mark was there the whole way and really understood what we were trying to acheive. We will definitely use him on our next project too !

The CD was recorded at Sound Arts in Houston, Texas - engineered by Jeff Wells & Brian Baker. Mixing was done at Congress House Studios in Austin, Texas and mixed by Richard Mullen who has mixed and engineered some of the most classic albums most notably Stevie Ray Vaughan's 1st 4 albums and has been working for Eric Johnson since 1988. What an honor it was to work with him and also learn from him. This was made possible by our drummer Jimmy Rose who used to play in the Austin All Stars with Richard ! Kudos J-Ro !
We have had a true passion for music all our lives and as this band we have been together for 5+ years. In this time we have played regular club gigs all over South Texas in nightclubs, festivals, biker rallies and private events.
We have experienced a great deal of changes as a band in our short time together but none we regret. Some of our former band members and fill in players " but forever friends " are : Eddie " Pinche " Garcia (bassist) , " Jungle " Bob Wedward (drums), Larry " Trip " Rowe (bassist & Big Bro'), Larry " Lownote " Johnson on Bass, Brandon Loftin ( guitar ), Daryl Kent ( guitar ), Keith Lynch ( sax/keys ), Mike " Lowboy " Leubner ( Bass ), Greg Grubbs ( Drums ), Matt " Smiley " Westmoreland ( Bass ) and Russell Shelby (drummer), who is currently back at his home base with Mean Gene Kelton. We have had the priviledge of playing with some of the "BEST MUSICIAN'S" this country has to offer right here in Houston and we look forward to many more years of playing with them as well as others.
